Jason Marangu at Kibirichia Ward was harvesting just 30 potato bags per acre. Miriti's comparative trial — conventional, ox-plough and CA — showed CA yielding 36 bags on a quarter acre (144 bags/acre equivalent), halving labour costs while eliminating weeding entirely.
